Terms of Service

Last updated: April 28, 2026

By using Noah, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Noah. We've kept this short on purpose.

The service

Noah is a Mac desktop application that helps diagnose and fix problems on your computer using AI. It runs locally on your Mac and forwards conversations to a backend service we operate, which in turn calls Anthropic's Claude API.

Subscriptions and billing

Refunds

If Noah doesn't work for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you, no questions asked. After 14 days we handle refunds case-by-case.

What you can and can't do

You may use Noah for any lawful purpose on Macs you own or are authorized to administer. You may not:

The desktop client itself is open source under its repository's license; you can fork, modify, and run your own copy. These terms govern only the hosted service.

What Noah does on your Mac

Noah only takes destructive or system-modifying actions after you click an explicit approval button. Diagnostic actions (reading system state, listing processes, checking disk usage) are read-only and run automatically. Every action is logged inside the app.

That said: software has bugs and AI makes mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing the plan before approving it. Back up important data. We are not liable for damage caused by approved actions.

Service availability

We try to keep Noah running, but we don't guarantee uptime. If the backend is down, the desktop app's "bring your own Anthropic key" mode (Settings → Advanced) still works as a fallback.

Termination

You can stop using Noah and cancel anytime. We may terminate or suspend an account that violates these terms or that we have reason to believe is being used abusively (e.g., trial farming, attempts to charge fraudulent cards). We'll refund any unused subscription period in that case.

Disclaimers

Noah is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — implied, express, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Noah is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on onnoah.app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
